Use a cold compress
Relief from dark circles may be as simple as using a cold compress that you can make using materials you already have. Why COLD? Applying cold to the area can help the blood vessels constrict quickly....for temporary relief.
Choose any of these options:
~ chilled teaspoon (wrapped in a cloth)
~ cool cucumber
~ cold wet wash cloth
~ bag of frozen veggies (wrapped in a cloth)
Remember your facial skin is thin and delicate, so be sure not to put extremely cold items directly on your skin. Apply the cold compress for few minutes and viola.
Clear out your sinuses with a neti pot
Surprisingly, clearing your sinuses can help remove under-eye bags and dark circles. A neti pot is a way of irrigating your sinuses and removing mucus and other debris that could be the culprit.
Elevate yourself while you sleep
Elevating your head helps to prevent fluid from pooling in your lower eyelids, which it what causes under eye puffiness. Try elevating your head with extra pillows while you sleep.
Additionally, try to get your 8hrs of sleep. Your entire body needs it. It's during deep sleep that your body repairs itself internally.
Stay hydrated
Our body's are made up of approximately 60% water weight. Water is stored in our skin and blood, along with organs and other body parts. Given our body's water make-up, it's no wonder dehydration can contribute to under-eye bags and SO MANY other issues.
