Benefits Mindfullness Behavior
Mindfulness Behavior is a great way to self-heal, maximize your enjoyment, and de-stress. It allows us to put some distance between ourselves and our reactions, giving way to a more softened response.
Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment, through a gentle, nurturing lens.....
Mindfulness is comprised of a few key components:
- Pay attention. It's hard to slow down and notice things in a busy world. But we have to learn to “stop and smell the roses.”
- Live in the moment. Try to intentionally bring an open, accepting and discerning attention to everything you do. There’s something grand about bringing your best to the table…people can feel it.
- Accept yourself. Treat yourself the way you would treat a good friend. Self-care isn’t selfishness, its necessary for your well-being.
Focus on your breathing. Effective breathing gives a greater sense of clarity, helps you to sleep better, aids in digesting foods properly, and reduces stress levels.
BONUS: As you spend time practicing mindfulness, you’ll probably find yourself feeling kinder, calmer, and more patient. These shifts in your experience are likely to generate changes in other parts of your life as well.
